The 2019 Food Taipei 5-in-1 Mega Expo—a combination of Food Taipei, Foodtech & Bio/Pharmatech Taipei, Taipei Pack, Taiwan Horeca and Halal Taiwan—will kick off in Taipei from June 19 to June 22 to provide a comprehensive one-stop supply chain platform for buyers from across the globe.

The show will be held at TWTC Hall 1 and Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1 as well as the newly opened Hall 2 of the Nangang Exhibition Center. The number of exhibition booths is expected to hit a new high at some 4800, up from 4059 last year.

Food Taipei is Taiwan’s most globalized exhibition of food expertise. It’s expected to attract exhibitors from more than 34 countries, including those from Taiwan, Japan, Korea and the United States. All kinds of delicacies from the world over will be displayed during the show to tease the taste buds of visitors.

Noteworthy is the Halal exhibition which has grown bigger in scale due mainly to the increasingly Muslim-friendly environment in Taiwan in recent years.

The “Halal Themed Pavilion” that was well received last year will bring even more excellent Halal products this time, displaying Halal-certified food and daily commodities in separate exhibition areas.

The “Flagship Brand Pavilions”, to be held for the first time in 2019, will bring together elites from the Taiwanese food industry. The top player with the best food safety standards, I-MEI Foods Co., Ltd. Will return to the Food Show after 10 years.

Furthermore, Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor Inc. and Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Corporation are bringing Taiwan’s great alcohol and delicacies to the world.
